# Dori Etter, Inspired Income®

Dori works with growth-stage founders, roughly $1M to $15M in revenue, who are capable and busy and still the bottleneck in their own company. The recurring diagnosis: the structure above the waterline (accountability charts, scorecards, meeting rhythm, EOS and similar operating systems) is necessary but not sufficient, because the real constraint is usually a belief or identity hold below the waterline that no amount of process can reach.

## Core concepts

- **Alignment Architecture™**: the methodology. Works the structural zone and the identity zone together, on the principle that moving only one does not hold.
- **Above / below the waterline**: above is visible structure; below is identity, belief, and the founder's relationship to control.
- **The Founder Alignment Arc**: a five-stage diagnostic (Operator, Manager, Architect, Steward, Chairman) tracking what the business needs from the founder at each point in its growth, versus where the founder actually is.
- **The Love/Great Trap**: founders delegate what they hate and hold what they love, and the work they love and are best at quietly becomes the company's ceiling.
- **Elevate by Design**: moving from doing the work to designing the thing that does the work. The same care, one level up.
- **Execution architecture**: the map of how work flows between seats (origin, destination, trigger, format, failure mode), as distinct from the accountability chart, which maps only ownership.
- **GPS vs. Compass leadership**: turn-by-turn founder direction versus a team with the judgment to navigate toward a stated true north.
